Is This Real?

Yes, this is real it is a Goblin Shark it's rarely seen. Living at Depths of about 3940 feet it is a slow swimming shark and can grow to be about 11 feet long. They dont normaly bother people.

My First Shark Story

Common Names: Horn shark, California horn shark
Latin Name: Heterodontus fransisci
Family: Heterodontidae

Size: Maximum length 120cm.

Yes that is a shark. It's a horn shark they grow to about 120 cm. The one i saw was about 4 in. long. I held it in my hand for about 30 sec. before it swam away. It was rad. The dive went to 35 feet with a bottom time of 23min visibility was about 4 feet and water temp on the bottom was 55 on 9-18/05
